Service details
Land that looks lost usually isn’t.
Forestry mulching grinds standing brush, briars, and small timber into mulch right where it grows. One machine, one pass, and ground that’s been swallowed for years is open again.
A CAT 275 XE compact track loader carries a Vail hi-flow drum mulcher, a rotating drum with fixed teeth that takes timber up to 8 inches in a single pass. Growth comes out at the root instead of getting scalped at the surface, so what grows back is slower and easier to stay ahead of.
Because everything is processed on site, there’s no burn pile smoldering for a week and no dump trucks running debris off the property. The material stays down as a mulch layer that holds the soil, keeps moisture in, and cuts erosion, instead of the raw scraped dirt a dozer leaves to wash out in the first hard rain.
Shaun runs every job himself, with his son alongside him, out of Lebanon and anywhere inside about 50 miles of Wilson County. That covers Mt. Juliet, Watertown, Murfreesboro, Gallatin and the fourteen counties around them. Every property is different, so the quote comes after a site visit. It’s priced by the acre, in writing, with no hidden fees.

One machine grinds standing brush, briars and timber where they stand, and leaves the material on the ground as a mulch layer. Nothing gets stacked at the road, nothing gets burned, and nothing rides off on a dump truck.

On an average day that’s better than an acre, depending on how thick it is. Density and access do more to set the pace than acreage does.

Mostly homeowners, but also realtors, investors, contractors and utility crews. If you own the ground or manage it, give us a call.
Most projects run about an acre or more. If you have less than that, call anyway. We’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth bringing the machine out.
